“It’s about how hard it is for a woman to survive in this game,” Ms.LaStarya explains, “It's some many of us women in this game tying to get it and it takes time & patients.” Born and raised in Gray, Louisiana (35mins from downtown New Orleans) Ms.LaStarya has been modeling for as long as she can remember. Being a Star is in her blood.

LaStarya cut her teeth starring in local vidoes in her native town Houma, Louisiana where she lived with her stepmother during her junior and senior high school years. And by the time she was 21, she was drawn to the big City of New Orleans in search of work. The modeling & music scene had taken off and required sexy women for video's! This definitely wasn't an easy interview for me to get. You must be busy. What are you currently working on?

Yeah I work a regular 9 to 5 and my hours were crazy for a minute, but it’s slowed down quite a bit. Right now, I’m working on revamping my website and marketing myself more.

What was it like growing up in Louisiana and Texas?

Well I was born in a small town of Louisiana (Eunice) but moved to Houston, TX during my adolescent years and have been there since. Either way, I love the south! The people, the food most definitely.
